BIA San Diego’s “H2O What To Know” Seminar Moderated by Fuscoe San Diego’s Eric Armstrong
The BIASD recently held its much anticipated “H2O What To Know” Seminar. Eric Armstrong, PE, QSD/P, the founder and manager of Fuscoe Engineering’s San Diego office, was selected to moderate the event, which was open to the public and presented in a Q & A format. The theme of this informative seminar was “Conserve, Use, Reuse, Rinse, Infiltrate, Repeat” and focused on the drought, alternate water supply options, stormwater and the new MS4 permit. Guest speakers/panel members included Dana Friehauf, Water Resources Manager, San Diego County Water Authority; Bob Hitchner, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Nexus eWater; and Luis Parra, PhD, Director of Water Resources, REC Consultants, Inc.
Eric’s background and expertise in water-related issues and eco-adaptive® design proved useful in moderating this seminar, as he was able to provide valuable insight and a fresh perspective to the proceedings. Eric is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years of civil engineering and project management experience throughout Southern California who specializes in commercial, residential and industrial land development and redevelopment projects. Additionally, Eric is QSD/P certified: he is a Construction General Permit Qualified Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Developer/Practitioner.
Congratulations to all involved for sharing their knowledge and insights on these timely and crucial water issues.
