On March 9, 2016, Fuscoe Engineering project managers, Mike Ijams and Mark Nero, delivered a presentation to the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) San Gabriel Chapter on drone / UAV (unmanned aerial vehicles) basics and how they are being used in today’s construction industry. The presentation took place at the Doubletree Hotel in Monrovia where attendees learned how drones are used to monitor project construction, create 3D point cloud surveys and models, as well as ortho-rectified aerials, view simulations and panoramas, all of which contribute to successful project delivery.
