IRVINE & LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – August 10, 2016 – Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce that two employees from its Irvine office location, Matthew Vega and Bryan Redsun, and one from its downtown Los Angeles office, Miguel Cabanas, are now registered Professional Engineers.

Attaining Professional Engineer (PE) licensing is an impressive achievement that indicates that the engineer is truly dedicated, skilled and at the top of his/her profession. Only a PE may oversee, sign, seal and take responsible charge for engineering plans and drawings.

Matthew Vega, PE is Fuscoe’s BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager. In addition to developing, managing and maintaining BIM project content, Matthew’s role includes executing Fuscoe’s Training Program. He facilitates the firm’s Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) process from project conception to completion, which entails communication, collaboration and cooperation with project teams, municipalities and stakeholders. Working directly with Architects, MEP and contractors, Matthew leads the Fuscoe BIM team in providing dynamic virtual 3D models for analysis. He is extraordinarily proficient in Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revit, Infraworks, ReCap and ReMake.
Bryan Redsun, PE has a strong background in transportation engineering and public infrastructure, with focused skills in highway/roadway geometrics, utility coordination, project management, cost estimation, right-of-way studies and traffic analysis. Bryan is well versed in designing to Caltrans specifications as well as local agencies’ requirements and processes. Bryan is currently providing services for the South Coast Metro Center project in Costa Mesa, Backbay Landing project in Newport Beach, Lido House Hotel in Newport Beach and the Nelles Retail Site in Whittier, among others.
Miguel Cabanas, PE has extensive experience in the design and preparation of plans for utility relocations, site developments and public works as well as transportation and sports facilities. He is highly proficient in working with Autodesk Civil 3D. Miguel’s current projects include 5901 Center Drive, a 280-apartment unit project; 77 “Small Lots” development at 20600 Roscoe Boulevard in Los Angeles; Buffer Park project in Santa Monica; 1600 Highland & Selma mixed-use project in Hollywood; AvalonBay West Hollywood mixed-use project; and the Los Angeles River Rio Vistas project.

“PE licensure is the mark of a true professional. I’d like to extend my sincere congratulations to all three new Fuscoe PEs for having achieved the highest standard within our industry.”
