IRVINE, CALIFORNIA – December 8, 2016 – Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce that CEO Patrick Fuscoe, PE was honored with the 2016 USC Distinguished Alumni Award, presented by USC’s Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The event was held on November 30 at the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles.
Pat graduated in 1972 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering. He began his career a day after graduating as an apprentice Engineer and moved to Orange County in 1974 to work on Irvine Company planned communities. Pat launched his own firm in 1981; today, Fuscoe Engineering has grown to be an award-winning firm with 200 staff members and $30M per year in revenues, with offices and projects throughout California. Over the course of his 40+ year career, Pat has overseen services for milestone projects, including the Village of Woodbridge in Irvine, Ronald Reagan Federal Building & Courthouse, W Hotel at Hollywood & Vine, Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa, Burbank Water & Power EcoCampus, Laguna Beach-Bluebird Canyon Landslide Repair, Tongva Park & Ken Genser Square at Santa Monica pier, Dana Point Harbor Revitalization and the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts, among many others.
Pat’s professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Council of Engineering Companies, Building Industry Association of Southern California and American Institute of Architects, among others. In addition, Pat volunteers his time on various Urban Land Institute (ULI) committees and is the Chairman of the Miocean Foundation and the Miocean Representative to the Ocean Institute. Pat and the Fuscoe Engineering staff strongly believe in giving back to the community and have contributed time and financial support to charitable causes, including the Ocean Institute Adopt-A-Class program, HomeAid, Families Forward, CANstruction, 2nd Harvest Food Bank, Boy Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, and many other worthwhile programs.

Pat lives in Newport Coast with his wife, Bonnie. They have two children; Patrick, who is pursuing a Masters degree at USC and Sally, a USC graduate.
