IRVINE, CALIFORNIA – May 24, 2017 – Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mark Nero, PE has been promoted to the position of Senior Project Manager at its Irvine office location.

Mark has over 20 years of civil engineering experience, with specialized skills in entitlements as well as commercial, retail, hospitality and residential infill developments. Recognized as a creative, knowledgeable and exacting professional who takes great pride in completing projects on time and within budget, Mark is a very valued member of the Fuscoe team.

Mark’s wide ranging experience at Fuscoe has included the management of complex hospitality, commercial, retail, and mixed-use infill projects from inception and entitlement through construction. Mark will be assuming leadership of Fuscoe’s commercial and retail studio, where he is involved in multiple commercial/industrial projects, ranging from hotels and huge corporate campuses to churches and municipal buildings. His notable projects include Broadcom’s Corporate Campus, Hyatt House Hotel and the Great Park Ice and Sports Complex in Irvine; Newport Beach Country Club’s New Clubhouse, Marina Park and Lido House Hotel in Newport Beach; and the San Carlos Landmark Hotel. Additionally, Mark is the key Fuscoe liaison responsible for all Costco Wholesale stores in Southern California.

Mark’s recently completed projects include the Fairfield Inn & Suites and Marriott Residence Inn with retail center in Tustin for RD Olson Development, Marriott Courtyard Waterpark Hotel in Anaheim for Northwest Hotel Corporation, Anton Legacy Apartments and Victory Park in Tustin for St. Anton Partners and the award-winning Festival of Arts Façade in Laguna Beach. In addition, Mark utilizes drone technology for several projects, including view simulations for Lido House Hotel and point-cloud and topographic surveying for St. Andrews Church, both in Newport Beach and various Costco Wholesale locations. Mark’s years of engineering experience, depth of knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills results in successful projects and overwhelming client satisfaction. Mark resides in the city of Huntington Beach with his wife, Allison, and their three children.
