Collaborate on special projects including virtual reality, game engine development, augmented reality and optical capture modeling (from drone raw data sources).
Create 3D models and animations of civil engineering and architectural projects.
Assist the GIS team in the enhancement of GIS related products, view simulations, and graphics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and collaborate on emerging virtual technologies (virtual, augmented, game engine) to create visualization tools and products for development clients.
Create and prepare 3D terrain models for integration into land development projects.
Merge 3D architectural building models with 3D point cloud models for accurate representation of proposed projects and to benefit virtual and augmented reality tools.
Education, Experience & Knowledge
Requires junior or higher-level coursework completed in an accredited Bachelor’ degree program in Digital Graphics, 3D Media & Arts, or Game Engine Development.
Experience using, 3-D Studio Max, Unreal Editor 4, Adobe Photoshop.
Demonstrated experience with texture and material skills, UVW unwrapping skills, basic lighting skills and basic modeling skills ideal.
Familiarity with blueprint creation in Unreal Engine 4 desired.
