Arbor Green Affordable Apartments

Affirmed Housing Group partnered with the City of Carson to develop and manage Arbor Green, a three-story affordable apartment community, serving households earning between 30 to 60 percent of Los Angeles County’s area median income.

This 40-unit complex on a 1.4-acre parcel was designed to achieve LEED Gold certification and includes sustainable elements such as rooftop photovoltaic panels and solar water heating systems. The project has been underwritten using the California Utility Allowance Calculator to ensure optimized energy efficiency; resident utilities are estimated to be $1 to $3 per month.

These one, two and three-bedroom affordable apartments with at-grade covered parking feature a plethora of residential amenities, including a community room, computer lab, library, laundry room, tot lot, community gardening plots and barbecue area. In addition, Arbor Green staff members will offer life skills training, homework assistance and cooking classes for residents.

The Fuscoe team provided a wide range of professional services, from construction staking, ALTA and topographic surveys to full civil engineering site plans and water quality reports, including a SWPPP, SUSMP and hydrology plan.
