Project Description

Bayside Landing

Bayside Landing, designed by Kevin L. Crook Architects, consists of three amenityrich neighborhoods consisting of 187 two- and three-story townhomes in 38 buildings on a 10.1-ocre site. These exceptional homes ore located one mile from Imperial Beach pier. Highway 75 runs along the project’s west side, while adjacent residential homes exist at its easterly edge. The northern edge foces a wetland at the south end of San Diego Boy. The Fuscoe team is providing civil engineering and survey/mopping services, including:

  • Due Diligence Investigation
  • Rough and Precise Grading Plans
  • SWPPP and Storm Water Management Pion
  • Construction Stoking, Final Mop and Condominium Plans

Due to tight site constraints, close coordination with other consultants and the contractor was necessary to ensure proper location of utilities and other improvements. The project also entailed creation of o wetlands mitigation area adjacent to Pond 1 OA at the south end of Son Diego Boy. In addition, the project includes construction of a bike path which connects from Highway 75, along the edge of the wetland, to the Bayshore Bikeway, allowing residents to quickly and safely bike to Coronado. Three separate Caltrans Encroachment Permits for median, frontage and offsite telephone improvements were needed, in addition to U.S. Army Corps of Engineering permitting for wetland restoration.
