NPDES Stormwater Compliance
Since 2002, Fuscoe played a significant role in the City of Yorba Linda’s NPDES Storm Water Program, including development of a Local Implementation Plan (LIP) and comprehensive local Regional Board Annual Report. Each year, FEI makes changes to improve upon the City’s storm water management strategies. Also, FEI has developed a GIS-based system to catalog the City’s infrastructure data, which is linked to on-going inspection programs for easy reporting requirements.
FEI was initially hired to evaluate the City of Brea’s NPDES Storm Water program strengths and weaknesses. FEI’s role has since been expanded to become more of an extension of City staff, providing WQMP plan check services, inspection support and database management of MS4 data.
Located within San Diego Creek Watershed, one of only two OC watersheds with established TMDLs, the City of Tustin employs FEI to help make management decisions on the City’s daily water quality issues, including coordinating county-wide watershed management plan initiatives and stakeholder participation in TMDL development/implementation, as well as its Newport Bay Watershed Nitrogen and Selenium Management Program. FEI supports each City’s Annual Reporting requirements, industrial/commercial/construction inspections, inventory and database management, public outreach programs, Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP) Operations and Maintenance verifications, and representation at co-permittee committee meetings.
