Project Description

Robert Paine Scripps Center

The Robert Paine Scripps Forum, located in the heart of Scripps Institution of Oceanography, is an ocean-front conference center facility. The center’s more than 9,000 s.f. of meeting and support space includes: an auditorium with flexible seating space for more than 285 people, balcony with fixed seats and rear-walkway entrances, four freestanding meeting rooms, each with an ocean view, multi-media communication and conferencing capabilities, and outdoor areas for activities and events. Landscaping and outdoor seating enhances the natural beauty of Scripps’ ocean-side location and provides abundant space for interaction among students, scientists and visitors.
