Geospatial Manager

Key Responsibilites

  • Work with client, FEI Project Managers and/or project architects to establish scanning and modeling objectives, accuracies, deliverables and minimum requirements

  • Serve as the point of contact for all on-going geospatial and GIS jobs including coordination with sub-consultants, FEI Mapping and Survey, updates to clients and FEI PM’s and oversee any field or post-processing issues.

  • Establish efficient methods for converting UAV point clouds into 2D topographic surveys in AutoCAD format.

  • Develop accurate proposals including detailed scanning and modeling workflows to derive project deliverables including differences for interior and external model deliverables.

Education, Experience & Knowledge

Have any combination of a bachelor’s degree (B. S.) in Engineering, Computer Science, Surveying/Geospatial Technologies or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university.

Working knowledge and experience with UAV’s (drones), point clouds, and how to collaborate in a Revit environment.  Experience in AutoCAD and ArcGIS, preferably in a Civil Engineering environment, totaling a minimum of two years; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Autodesk ReCap/Infraworks/Revit, Navisworks and Vehicle Tracking a plus.
