Supportive affordability packaged in six-stories at The Iris in West LA

The Iris is a 6-story affordable and supportive housing community in West Los Angeles, offering 61 apartments, including 34 for formerly unhoused residents. Designed by BSB Architects, the development features several on-site services including a community room, rooftop lounge, and garden beds, providing residents with a vibrant and supportive living environment.

Fuscoe delivered full civil engineering services for this tight infill site, overcoming the absence of a public storm drain by designing SUSMP planters that met LID requirements. Our work included supplemental topography, ALTA survey, demolition planning, grading and drainage, sewer and water design, and offsite street improvements.
