A comprehensive campus modernization supporting long-term student success.
After more than 60 years of service to the Riverside community, John W. North High School underwent a major campus modernization to support the needs of more than 2,000 students. Funded by approximately $50 million in Measure O and federal funds, the project included construction of a new two‑story science building with eight classrooms, a new competition gymnasium, enhanced campus entries, outdoor learning environments, and shaded gathering areas, along with significant utility, accessibility, pavement, and building upgrades. Fuscoe provided civil engineering services supporting site improvements and new construction, including extensive utility investigation and relocation. Through underground utility surveys and close coordination with District and campus staff, Fuscoe developed efficient solutions for rerouting sewer, water, and storm drain infrastructure to accommodate new facilities and maintain uninterrupted campus operations.
