Luna Valley Solar

Luna Valley Solar is approximately 1,100 acres of land in Fresno County with an anticipated total capacity of 330MW.
Our team conducted project research and coordinated with the owner and contractor to establish project requirements, evaluate existing conditions, and develop site strategies, including floodplain considerations. Grading plans were prepared to satisfy the client, County, and NPDES requirements while optimizing site development. A Hydrology Study was prepared to support the project, which sized the basins for County requirements, and included a 2D model for the 100-year storm event. A Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan was also developed in accordance with EPA regulations. The civil design incorporated geotechnical recommendations, earthwork balancing, and site layouts through a 30/60/90/100 percent design submittal basis. Fuscoe also prepared pile staging and elevation plans to support tracker layout, pile installation, grading verification, and construction across 52 power blocks.
