One of the largest battery storage facilities in the region, with a capacity of 68.8 MW and 275.2 MWh.

The Stanton Battery Energy Storage System (SBES) began full commercial operations in December 2023. SBES, located adjacent to the Stanton Energy Reliability Center (SERC), strengthens grid stability and supports renewable energy integration in Southern California Edison’s Southwest LA service area. The system is capable of powering approximately 65,000 homes, contributing to reduced carbon emissions and improved grid resilience. Fuscoe provided civil engineering, survey and mapping services for public street improvements along multiple property frontages. The scope included the demolition, removal and full reconstruction of a public street knuckle, designed to meet all ADA accessibility standards and compliance requirements.
