This $1B redevelopment project infused new life into a notoriously blighted public housing site.
The 80-acre Jordan Downs Master Plan will ultimately become a vibrant mixed-use “urban village”and is a joint effort between agencies, developers and the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles. Fuscoe provided comprehensive engineering, survey and mapping and stormwater management services for Phase 1A (Cedar Groves Apartments), 1B (New Harvest Apartments) and Phase 1C (Freedom Plaza). A complex phasing plan for Phases 1A and 1B allowed on-site relocation of all existing residents without displacement. Both Phase 1A and 1B were designed to achieve LEED® Silver Certification.
