Community Impact
Situated on a 0.3-acre urban parcel in the historic MacArthur Park neighborhood, the 64-unit Bryson Legacy building includes 15 units for people with developmental disabilities, with half of all units designated as affordable. Residents benefit from on-site supportive services, plus shared amenities like a welcoming lobby, outdoor courtyards, and a rooftop deck.

Unique challenges for the project’s development included navigating a shared property line on a tight infill site, removing walls and gates, and preserving an existing transformer while accommodating a new one — all while maintaining setbacks and managing stormwater runoff.

Historic Neighborhood
Located adjacent to the Bryson Apartment Hotel, Bryson Legacy was designed to seamlessly integrate with its landmark neighbor. The new community provides high-quality, affordable, and supportive housing in the heart of MacArthur Park while also honoring the history of the neighborhood.
