Our Latest Projects

John W. North High School Transformation

Riverside | GO Architects for Riverside Unified School District

After 60+ years of serving students, $50 Million in Measure O and Federal Funds were committed to the revitalization of John W. North High School. The renovation of the 2,000-student campus includes a new two-story science building, a new competition gymnasium, new student entries, outdoor learning spaces, and necessary accessibility, utility, paving, and landscape upgrades across the campus.

Full circle thinking® at work: A key challenge in designing new facilities on the existing campus was locating and re-routing the existing utilities. By performing underground utility surveys and coordinating with campus and District staff, Fuscoe efficiently developed solutions to relocate utilities (including sewer, water, and storm drain facilities) around the new buildings.

Casa Blanca Elementary School

Riverside | GO Architects for Riverside Unified School District

After closing over 50 years ago, Casa Blanca Elementary School was recently rebuilt from the ground up to support a new generation of students. Serving approximately 800 Transitional Kindergarten through sixth-grade students, the new 10-acre campus includes classrooms, support buildings, play areas, and outdoor learning environments.

Full circle thinking® at work: Fuscoe provided preliminary and final civil engineering services, coordinating approvals for on- and off-site improvements from the Division of the State Architect (DSA), the City of Riverside, and the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. Close coordination with the agencies ensured that the site design, off-site improvements, and storm drain connections were all compliant with regional and state requirements.

Irvine High School Performing Arts Center

Irvine | Irvine Unified School District

The Irvine High School Performing Arts Center is a modern, 650-seat venue designed to enhance the school’s arts education and serve as a community hub. The new 20,000 SF facility, built from the ground up, includes a full production stage, black box theatre, lobby, dressing rooms, and outdoor spaces for students to enjoy.

Full circle thinking® at work: Fuscoe provided comprehensive construction staking services for the Performing Arts Center and associated parking facilities. Our team supported all phases of construction, also providing precise interior staking for critical theatre elements such as stairs, lighting, aisles, and curved seating arrangements, ensuring proper alignment with the design.
